Hi I’m Mary McIntyre, I would like to take this
time to thank Arm Full of Help. Around December of last year me
and my family had some money problems and was not able to get
Christmas gifts for the kids. I didn’t know where to turn so I
got on the internet and started searching for organizations that
help families in need. I found an organization called Arm Full
of Help. The web site gave a phone number so I called and on the
other end of the line was two very nice ladies who I have become
to know and love as Merry Anne and Anna. I started talking to
Merry Anne explaining my problems she listened to everything I
had to say and then she asked if she could talk to me about
Jesus and the work He does. I was very pleased to hear
everything Mary Anne was telling me. I was just a beginner and
didn’t understand a lot but with the help of Mary Anne and Anna
giving me spiritual advice I am walking closer with the Lord and
reading the Bible that Arm Full of Help sent me every day. They
also sent Christmas gifts to my family. My husband and my son
received cologne and sweat outfits. Me and my two daughters
received perfume and sweat outfits also. Also Arm Full of Help
sent the kids little pocket organizers with calculators. The
kids and us were very grateful for the gifts. Then the next day
my daughter and I started thinking about my parents needing help
this Christmas also. So I asked my daughter to call and see if
Arm Full of Help would help them. Anna answered the phone and
she was very understanding and caring. My parents Margaret and
Billy Cumbus was in a situation where my mother had open heart
surgery in March and where she worked closed their door. So that
left her with medical bills and no insurance to pay these bills.
My dad gets Social Security but it is very little money and just
enough to make ends meet. They were in need of groceries which
they were very happy to get. That brought my parents spirits up
for the holidays. I would really like to take the time to tell
everyone at Arm Full of Help they have really taught me a lot
about Jesus Christ and now I am walking closer with Him and my
whole family would like to say thank you. Mary Anne and Anna are
wonderful ladies and I will always remember what they and Arm
Full of Help have done for us.
